AHEPA and DOP Provide Toys for Tots

As part of the regularly scheduled monthly dinner meeting in December 2017, AHEPA and DOP gathered and distributed toys to the marines as part of their Toys for Tots program.  A delicious dinner was provided by the DOP, with the Ahepans tending the bar.  We were honored with a visit from our District Governor Gus Pantelides, Past District Governors Mike Pantel and Kosta Sofikitis and District Warden Homer Zambigadis.  And we were entertained by the Saint Mark Syrtaki dancers as they prepared for their performance at their upcoming Hellenic Dance Festival in Orlando.  Checks and cash for over $400 were provided to the dancers to help them offset their costs for travel to the dance competition.

AHEPA and DOP Learn About Women in Distress

Over 50 AHEPA Brothers and Daughters of Penelope (DOP) Sisters attended our monthly meeting on October 5th after dinner fellowship heard a great speaker from Women in Distress who’s mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy.
